How our custom design process works

We love helping people design their perfect rings. Whether it's for a wedding, engagement or commitment of any kind, we consider it a huge honour to be a part of such a special process and to make something that signifies such an important bond.

We love working with people to create a custom-designed etching or to tweak one of our existing designs to make it fit your story.  

We try to be true to our style and design aesthetic - stars, trees, mountains, plants, rivers, coastlines, the ocean.
Simple lines and strong shapes work best - if you're wanting a dragon battling an eagle riding a shark, that's totally cool, we just might not be the best fit to make it happen.

To get things started you'll fill out our  Custom Design Form. Give us as much detail as you can so Ash has a clear starting point for your design. 

For a small change to one of our existing designs, there's no extra cost. To make something new we charge a US$95 custom design fee.

Ash sends you initial concepts based on your ideas.

You let us know what you think. Which parts you like, which you don't and how you'd like to develop them.

Repeat! Usually, within 2 or 3 revisions we can get your design sorted. If it takes more, that's cool but we may charge for the extra design time. We'll let you know if this is necessary.

Once we have your design finalised we'll make a custom listing with all your details. You double-check we have everything correct, pay and we make your piece.
